How many boxes do I need?
We recommend you opt for the "Package Deals" on offer our website. These are designed based on average usage for homes and offices. In the event you do not use the boxes we will refund the full price for each of the boxes not used. Please note that the refunds would not be applicable for the packaging items like tape, bubble wrap, etc.
What would be the cheaper option? Rent or Buy "Rent Your Boxes"
It is cheaper for you to Rent if you plan on returning the boxes within 2 months. But If you plan on keeping your boxes for longer than 2 months, it is cheaper to Buy your boxes.
How do I place an order?
You can place your order online 24 hours a day on our website or call us on 1800084304 between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm Eastern Standard Time Monday to Friday. The payments for your order can be made using a Master Card, Visa Card, or Cheque on delivery.
What happens if I Rent and then decide to keep the boxes?
This can be accommodated, however you would need to buy the boxes you rented. We would forfeit the deposit on the number of boxes you decide to keep. There will be no other additional charges.
What do I need to do to get a free delivery?
All initial orders qualify for one free delivery and one free pick up. For Rent jobs, delivery is free when you rent packing boxes or tape dispensers to the value of $65.00 incl. GST or over. For Sale jobs, delivery is free when you buy packing boxes and/or ancillary items to the value of $90.00 incl. GST or over.
How soon can you process orders?
All orders placed before 6 pm could be delivered the next working day. When making a booking, we ask for a two hour timeslot starting at 8 am to 10 am and the last timeslot being 4 pm to 6 pm. If you make your booking online prior to 6 pm, then you can select the first 8 am to 10 am timeslot the following morning. After 6 pm and up until 5 am on the day of delivery, you can request a timeslot of 10 am to 12 pm onwards. Please note this is a preferred timeslot and should the driver not be able to deliver during your request time, then they will give you a call to discuss an alternative, convenient time for you.
How much is the deposit?
The deposit would be per individual box you rent. This way if you want to keep any of the boxes, you only forfeit the deposit of those boxes.
What if my order does not satisfy the minimum order value for free delivery, what would be the delivery fee?
Delivery fee of $35 is capped for orders under $30. For orders above $30 the delivery fee is the difference between $65 and the value of the rent items. For sale jobs, a delivery fee of $35 only applies to orders $55 or under. For orders above $55 the delivery fee is the difference between $90 and the order value

The per box deposit on
  • Medium Box is $1.50
  • Large Box is $2.40
  • Porta-Robe is $7.00 for the Box and $1.50 for the Metal Rail
  • Tape Dispenser is $5.00
  • Note: For promotions, when the Tape Dispenser is hired at no charge, the deposit is $10.00


Do you process same day deliveries?
Sorry we would not be able to accept and process same day deliveries.
What times do you deliver?
We deliver Monday to Saturday between 8 am to 6 pm. Occasionally when our drivers have reached the maximum number of deliveries in a two hour timeslot, you may find the timeslot has been greyed out on the website booking form so you are unable to select that time.
Are you able to deliver outside of working hours?
"Rent Your Boxes" attempt to satisfy all our customers needs and would try to accommodate to your request. Please speak with our representatives /customer service officers on 1800084304 to discuss possible times and days.
Do I have to be home for delivery or the collection of the boxes?
You do not need to as long as you have pre-paid via Credit Card, and there is somewhere safe and dry to leave the boxes. Once the boxes are delivered to the requested address the responsibility for boxes lies with you. Therefore it is advisable for some one to be present at address when boxes are delivered and picked up for collection.
Do you service all Victorian metro area?
"Rent Your Boxes" operate in metro areas of Melbourne. To check if we service your area please enter your postcode(s) on the online order page. If the area you are moving to is outside of our serviceable area, then you can buy boxes from us but not rent them.
I am moving interstate, can I rent boxes?
Yes you can. Please note often boxes being moved interstate receive significant damage during the transit process, you may not receive your full deposit refund on these boxes. Due to this we recommend our customers to buy your boxes.
Can I pick up the boxes from "Rent Your Boxes"?
We offer lowest prices in the market. Therefore do not operate offices to keep costs to a minimum. Therefore the boxes ordered can only be delivered to your premises.

Collection & Refunds

What do I do when I am finished with the rent boxes?
Call us on 1800084304 to organize for collection. Collection hours are Monday to Saturday 8 am to 6 pm. A free pick up is only offered once for an order, so if you require more than one pick up in order to return all your rent items, a $35 fee will apply for each additional pick up.
How long can I keep the rent boxes?
Boxes can be kept up to maximum of 60 days from date of delivery. We expect that you not organize for pick up "Rent Your Boxes" by contacting us through e-mail, text message (SMS) or phone call to 1800084304. The deposit will be forfeited if you have not organized for pick up. "Rent Your Boxes", at its discretion may still choose to collect those boxes, however no deposit will be refunded.
If I damage the boxes, will I get my refund back?
"Rent Your Boxes" allow for general wear and tear and do not forfeit the deposit for this. How ever we request that you do not remove the tape from the boxes or write on the boxes. When unpacking, please slice along the tape. If you need to label the boxes, you should write on the tape. As long as the cardboard is not ripped, torn or water damaged and is in a re-usable condition you will receive your deposit back. Please refer to our terms and conditions for further information.
How do I get my refund back?
Once the boxes are collected back by our representatives, they will advice you for how many boxes the refund will be processed. If none are damaged you will get the full refund. Refunds are processed through your nominated bank account through EFT, Cheque or Credit Card you paid with for original transaction. The refunds will be processed immediately and will take up to 5 working days to arrive in your bank account if this is through EFT or a Cheque will be delivered to the address specified or nominated by you.
